Traffic
Maybe the biggest problems that one will face driving in the roads of Ghana are the trucks. They stop everywhere and cause lots of trouble for small cars. Of course, I do not want to be the drivers of this trucks and yes they do suffer a lot as well. 
Coffins
Funerals in Ghana have a very important place in society. For that reason, some people started to think about a different way to send theier beloved to theier next life! In this picture you can see a sample of coffins that have been made in Accra.
Gas Station
Well, travelling around Ghana is always very interesting and if one would really write down or take a picture of everything that is “different”, it would be a very nice book! Of course, in the big cities there are a lot of modern gas stations as I am used to see. But as soon as you leave the big cities the “traditional” way turns to be more frequent. See the picture!
Long time!
Yes, I know… it is a long time since the last post. But life goes by and sometimes you do not find the time to share it! Specially with the internet connection we got! Oh, for the mean time I had my first experience with malaria and typhoide fever . Do not worry, I am recovering well and will be soon ready for the next malaria!
Very soon we will start our christmas decoration (hopefully a christmas tree as well). For the eve we invited some friends and the best of all my father and my sister will be coming to Ghana next week so they will be here on Christmas as well.

Obroni
Aqui em Gana os estrangeiros são chamados de obroni por todo o lugar que passam. Na vizinhança é menos, já que depois de uma 100 vezes até eles cansam de
gritar essa palavra por aí. Ainda é meio indefinido o significado dessa palavra. Muitos dizem que é apenas um jeito diferente de mostrar que se é diferente, alguns dizem que significa branco e outro ainda dizem que é somente um jeito de designar o estrangeiro. Tudo bem!
In Ghana Ausländer werden oft obroni genannt. Und das überall wo sie hin gehen. In der Nachbarschaft wird es immer weniger, weil nach 100 Mal sogar die Ghanaer müde von ihrem Scherz werden. Die genaue Bedeutung des Wortes ist anscheinend nicht ganz geklärt. Viele meinen, es sei einfach eine Möglichkeit zu zeigen das einem anders ist, einige sagen es bedeutet Weisse/Weisser und andere sagen, es sei die Übersetzung für Ausländer. Tja!

Mercados/ Maerkte

Ele esta visitando os mercados para controlar a infraestrutura (vai ser sem hifen na reforma ortografica?) construida pelo Banco de Desenvolvimento da Alemanha (KfW). Bem, para mais detalhes favor contatar o Tobias diretamente.
